Deirdre Mitra

Deirdre Mitra is a Legal Specialist in the Corporate Group, with a focus on stock administration, corporate formation, capitalization management, and venture capital rounds. She has worked on complex capitalization audits, corporate reclassifications, spinoffs, as well as due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions. Deirdre works at an expert level in Shareworks and Carta, and has experience in other capitalization management platforms. She is also well-versed in Delaware corporate tax recalculation, blue sky research, and securities filings.

Prior to joining VLP, Deirdre was a Senior Corporate Paralegal at the Silicon Valley office of Goodwin Procter, L.P. Previously she worked as a Senior Corporate Paralegal in the Life Sciences Group at Wilson, Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati, P.C. While at Wilson, Deirdre also spent time in the employee benefits department and served as a trainer in their paralegal clinical program.
