Amit Raviv

Amit counsels early-stage, rapidly scaling and late-stage growth companies and their venture capital and strategic investors. He is also a trusted advisor to founders and often advises boards of directors and senior management on matters such as formation, corporate governance, financings, mergers and acquisitions and complex commercial transactions.

Prior to joining VLP, Amit was a corporate associate at a prominent international law firm in New York City, where his practice primarily concentrated on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions. He moved to California in 2019 where his focus shifted to advising startup companies and venture capital funds in the technology and life science industries. He has represented clients across numerous sectors, including software, fintech, gaming, social media, consumer goods and healthtech.

During law school, Amit was an editor of the American University Business Law Review. He also served as a judicial extern at the Department of Justice and for Justice Arthur Weissbrodt in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of the Northern District of California.
