VLP Represents Bright Media in $120 Million Acquisition by LinkedIn

VLP Law Group LLP represented Bright Media Corporation in its acquisition by LinkedIn Corporation in a cash and stock deal valued at $120,000,000, which is LinkedIn’s largest acquisition to date. The transaction closed on February 28, 2014. Bright Media, a firm client since the company’s formation in early 2011, leverages data science and proprietary matching technology to connect job candidates and employers.
The VLP deal team was led by corporate and founding partner Christopher La Chance, and included corporate partners Timothy Bowers and Whit Bissell, tax partner Michael Powlen, and intellectual property partner Baird Garrett.
