Stephen Wright is a Partner of VLP, Chair of the Real Estate Practice Group and a member of the Affordable Housing & Community Development Practice Group in San Francisco.
Stephen’s practice includes all aspects of real estate transactional law, including development, acquisition, commercial financing, commercial leasing, disposition and related transactions and involves office, industrial, retail, multi-family residential, high-end residential and mixed use properties. He has also represented both sponsors and investors in the structuring and formation of joint ventures (using LLC’s, partnerships, and TIC structures) as well as the negotiation and preparation of development agreements, construction contracts, completion guaranties, CC&Rs, easements, management agreements, as well as other construction related agreements.
In addition, Stephen has extensive experience representing affordable housing developers in all aspects of affordable housing transactions.
Before joining VLP, Stephen practiced at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP where he was a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Affordable Housing & Community Development practice group.
