Jeff Silberman is a counsel in the Corporate Practice Group and his practice focuses on the representation of emerging growth companies and venture capital firms.
Jeff represents companies from formation to exit. He advises clients on general corporate, business and contractual matters and works closely with such companies to plan, structure and achieve complex financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, carve-out transactions, strategic investments, joint ventures and founder departures.
Jeff’s clients operate in a multitude of industries, from artificial intelligence and blockchain technologies to innovative wellness food and beverage products.
Before joining VLP, Jeff started his career at the firms Lowenstein Sandler and Perkins Coie, two of the nation’s premier law firms for emerging companies and venture capitalists. Jeff received his law degree from New York University School of Law and bachelor’s degree in philosophy and political economics from Tulane University, where he graduated with honors.
