Andrew P. Dixon serves as Counsel in the firm’s Corporate group.
Andrew advises private and public companies, as well as entrepreneurs and investors, on a broad range of significant business transactions from formation through liquidity, with a particular emphasis on private equity, venture capital and M&A transactions. Andrew also has significant experience counseling clients in connection with significant purchase, sale, distribution and supply chain matters, including brick and mortar, e-commerce, license and private label transactions.
Andrew began his legal career at Morrison & Foerster LLP, a premier international law firm. Prior to joining the firm, he also served as in-house counsel for an international manufacturer and retailer. Andrew distinguishes himself by achieving successful outcomes for clients utilizing a thorough knowledge of his client’s business, superior negotiating skills and strategic thinking.
Andrew has represented clients in a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, biopharmaceutical, medical device, e-commerce, furniture, software, internet, social media, semiconductor, unmanned aerial vehicles, agtech, consumer products, finance, and video game.
Andrew received his J.D. with honors from The University of Chicago Law School, where he was a John M. Olin Student Fellow in Law and Economics. He also participated in The University of Chicago Corporate Lab: Transactional Clinic and was a member of The Federalist Society. Mr. Dixon received his B.A. magna cum laude in history from the University of Dallas, where he was a recipient of the Louis J. Lekai history award.
