VLP Law Group LLP Continues Growth with Addition of Executive Compensation Partner Mark Bradford

Palo Alto, CA (September 12, 2016) – VLP Law Group LLP is pleased to announce that Mark Bradford has joined the firm as a partner in its Executive Compensation Practice Group.

Mr. Bradford brings over 16 years of experience as an executive compensation and employee benefits attorney.  He has represented buyers and sellers in over 200 cross-border and domestic M&A deals, with transactions ranging in size from a $1 million acquihire to a $7 billion sale of a leading software company. In connection with these transactions, Mr. Bradford has negotiated and drafted deal-related agreements, including employment, incentive, retention, severance and non-competition agreements, and worked on post-closing integration matters. He has also worked with more than 35 companies on compensation matters arising out of their initial public offerings.

Prior to joining VLP, Mr. Bradford was a senior associate with Gunderson Dettmer LLP’s Executive Compensation Group.  Prior to Gunderson, he was an associate with Cooley LLP’s Compensation & Benefits Group. Mr. Bradford began his career in the area of executive compensation and employee benefits at Brobeck, Phleger & Harrison LLP where he was an associate in the Executive Compensation, Employee Benefits and Taxation Group.

Mr. Bradford is a graduate of Boston University School of Law, where he earned both an LL.M and J.D. He also earned a B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley.
