Diana Sanchez Bentz is a legal specialist in the areas of secured transactions and real estate. She specializes in the due diligence, documentation and closings of secured and unsecured finance transactions.
Her practice includes assisting private and commercial lenders in all facets of equity and debt financings, including commercial bank loans, mezzanine and second lien debt transactions, acquisition financings, letter of credit facilities, bridge loans, assignments, and equipment lease transactions. Additionally, her experience includes general transactional real estate matters and general corporate securities matters.
Prior to joining VLP Law Group LLP, Diana was a Paralegal Specialist in the Palo Alto office of Cooley LLP. During her ten year tenure, she specialized in commercial transactions and her experience included a variety of corporate and securities transactions, including public offerings, private company financings, corporate maintenance and SEC investigations. Prior to joining Cooley, Diana served over ten years in the Santa Clara County Office of the District Attorney as a senior paralegal in a variety of trial assignments, including the Consumer Protection Unit and the Real Estate Fraud Division. Diana began her career as a paralegal in the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney in Captain Cook, Hawaii.
Her participation in the paralegal profession has included long time participation in multiple professional associations and mentoring students and paralegals new to the profession as well as speaking to paralegal programs in the county.
